Living together charter and rules of life Namaste

Welcome to NAMASTE. Certain rules are essential for a harmonious, pleasant and serene cohabitation. Adopting good manners, respect, sharing tasks and good communication are necessary between each and every one of you.

The rules of good manners in living together include respect for privacy, solidarity and keeping things clean.

N°1 – Maintaining privacy and private areas in the rooms.
In the accommodation, you have shared areas and a private space. Erika, the NAMASTE cleaning lady, will clean your room on Monday mornings, so please allow her access. It is essential to respect the privacy of residents so as not to intrude on their private lives. It would be inappropriate to enter a resident’s room without their prior permission or to use their personal belongings, even in communal areas (fridge, bathroom).

No. 2 – Be attentive to the needs of others.
It is essential to take everyone’s rest times into account to maintain harmony when living together. Times when peace and quiet must be especially respected: from 10pm to 8am. It is essential to refrain from smoking or vaping inside the home.

No. 3 – Be supportive of each other.
Mutual support is a key quality for a successful cohabitation. Doing favours for your flatmates is a good way of strengthening cohesion. You need to be understanding in order to respect each other’s values and needs. At the same time, you need to be tolerant of the habits of other members of the shared household.

No. 4 – Keep communal areas free of clutter and do your share of housework.
Communal areas generally include the kitchen, living room, bathrooms, toilets, laundry room and garden. These rooms are shared by all the flatmates. They need to be kept tidy, clean and tidy-up to be liveable. Nobody wants to pick up their flatmates’ dirty socks. Each resident’s personal belongings must be stored in their own private space! Each resident must take care of his or her share of household chores: no-one wants to find a dirty plate or frying pan, or to find the toilet with residue from other people’s visits. Find the fridge in a dirty state. Please always leave these areas clean after your visit.

N°5 – The bins are collected on Tuesday mornings.
Please empty the bins in the house. This is essential to maintain a pleasant and healthy living environment. Thank you!

N°6 – Visiting friends and family.
Visiting arrangements have been made in the home to prevent abuse. You should respect the other residents and not impose your friends or family on them. Before anything else, you must inform Raysa and state how long you plan to stay. Even for a short stay, you will have to make an additional payment, as there are financial charges for the owner. And for permanent residents, the organisation of communal areas must be respected with an additional person.

N°7 – Departure times – end of stay before 11 a.m.

N°8 – Events.
Parties, weddings, carnivals and other events are not permitted in the accommodation.

N°9 – Cleaning.
On Monday, Ericka will clean everywhere but especially in the common areas of the accommodation. Please do not leave any intimate or valuable belongings lying around to avoid misunderstandings. Please allow access to your room. His professional intervention is in addition to your daily intervention. To keep the house clean, it is essential that everyone takes part.

N°10 – Access to the laundry room.
You have access to our laundry room, in moderation, and you must organise your use with the other residents. The washing machine and tumble dryer are used once a week (preferably at night between 11 p.m. and 7.30 a.m.) and the washing powder is included. Please note: If abuse is observed we will change the use to paying.

N°11 – Internet connection.
You have access to Wi-Fi, but the password must remain confidential. There are also Ethernet sockets in the rooms.

IMPORTANT :
In the event of a breakdown or malfunction in the accommodation, please contact Raysa on 07 89 63 98 47 without delay. We will do our best to remedy the situation.

NAMASTE and all its members wish all our residents a very pleasant stay!

Alternative health therapy

Laughter Yoga was created in 1995 by a doctor, Dr Madan Kataria, and his yoga teacher wife.
It began as a Laughter Encounter Club in Mumbai, India, with 5 people. It then spread like wildfire.
Dr Kataria and his wife made their first tour of the United States at the invitation of psychologist Steve Wilson (USA) in 1999. Today it’s a fast-growing worldwide phenomenon.
It is now practised in companies, retirement homes, schools, colleges, fitness centres, community centres, prisons, hospitals, establishments for people with disabilities, etc.
It is acclaimed as perhaps the best alternative health therapy for whole-body-spirit wellbeing.

Because Laughter Yoga means connecting through unconditional laughter, members of a group quickly connect with each other. Laughter Yoga fosters a strong union between those who laugh together resulting in a bond similar to that of a family, providing an interaction and social network essential to happiness.

The aim of Laughter Yoga is to connect people to each other on a heart level, without judgement, which is the true meaning of Yoga.

Shiatsu by Nathalie

Excessive stress, a product of our constantly changing world, impacts on our health, unbalancing our emotional, psychological and physiological mechanisms. Shiatsu (“pressure with the fingers”) is a set of techniques performed on and around the body, bringing better physical and psychological balance. Immediately effective and long-lasting, shiatsu helps to restore well-being through relaxation.

Shiatsu promotes balance and the harmonious circulation of the body’s energy, and is therefore part of the field of prevention and “well-being”. Shiatsu has many virtues, but the following are the most important:

  • Reduce stress and tension.
  • Stimulate and strengthen the body’s self-defence system.
  • Balancing the entire energy system.
  • Bring physical and psychological relaxation.

A session lasts about an hour. The person remains dressed, lying on a futon on the floor, or on an amma chair. Soft clothing, preferably made from natural fibres, facilitates the work. The session can be carried out in a seated position for people who find lying down uncomfortable or who are unable to lie down.

Please note : Shiatsu is intended for anyone, of any age, who wishes to maintain or develop a level of physical, psychological and emotional well-being, subject to the existence of illnesses or malformations which must remain the strict domain of medicine.

Sonotherapy by Nathalie

Sonotherapy is a set of techniques that come straight from Tibet and Nepal. Based on ancient knowledge, this art form was already used several thousand years ago in traditional Indian medicine. In fact, in Eastern countries, people believe that human beings are born from sound, and are therefore sound.

In sonotherapy, also known as sound massage, we use the voice, therapeutic tuning forks and Tibetan and/or crystal bowls. Sound acts on physical matter, as demonstrated by cymatics, the study of sound waves visible in sand spread out on a metal plate. Water, like sand, reacts to sound. Since the human body is over 70% water, sound frequencies have a profound effect on our bodily structure.

Singing, singing bowls and tuning forks use resonance to restore well-being to our body, mind and emotions. It’s a form of meditation that helps to calm the mind, reduce preoccupation and sharpen intuition. It works on the body and mind and guides us towards mastery of conscious breathing.

Energy massages by Laurence

I have hypersensitivity, magnetism and clairvoyance, and was trained in a first degree of Reiki in 2005, as well as in Celtic, Amerindian and Druidic shamanism techniques for 4 years by 3 successive shamans. I was also trained in geobiology at the age of 20 and in 2022 (divining rods). I have mediumship skills and have developed magnetism through courses that I channel. With 25 years’ experience in Grh and management, I’ve been looking after people with intellectual disabilities and dogs (with a diploma in acaced) for 9 years. I have a diploma in sonotherapy, I’m training in animal mediation (certification) and I’m training in coaching (certification).

Energetic massages are a non-conventional personal wellbeing practice based on shamanic tools combining drumming, singing, maracas, Jew’s harp and whistling, soul consolidation, channelled animal medicines and sound massages (sonotherapy). During a session, we take a holistic approach to your being, helping you to relax and feel better using an energetic method.

The session lasts 45 minutes to an hour. It consists of a preliminary interview, followed by energy channelling, and ends with a review of your feelings and energies.

At your request, these sessions can take place via videoconference. A contract with a charter will be drawn up beforehand.

Totoro, our cat, may be involved in the session. Please let us know beforehand if you have any allergies to cat hair, or if you are afraid of or reticent about our feline.

Under no circumstances will you be asked to stop taking your medication or suspend your medical treatment (PJ CGU, ethical charter) Unconventional care practices. (sante.gouv.fr)
